Thanks for sharing Rob. I never follow them. A business is a business and should always be separate. I think people are so connected with their businesses that they think we'll this is a good way to go. The above proves to be fatal for them. I just setup another business page! :)

Amen! For whatever reason, 99% of the local businesses in our area set up their account as a FACEBOOK FRIEND profile (as opposed to a PAGE). I suspect one follows another or as you mentioned, someone out there is providing this service. There are definitely some tradeoffs in using one type of account over another.

I also find it amusing that so many people complain about Facebook compromising their privacy while at the same time they reveal their personal information to corporate brands by adding companies as FRIENDS.

First I'd like to propose a Don't follow Thursday and listing all of the trolls you've had in the past week.
Have you been watching the follow behavior of these folks? Do they keep following you if you follow back? The scripts seem to be getting quicker (they quit following within minutes)

It is too late at this stage - and while not everyone likes it, the press do... which helps our local charities. It is also trademarked now.

I will work on future initiatives with a different name and will let you know :)

Thanks for the comment. Admittedly, it's not easy to re-name or rebrand something that has gone global, but it's not impossible - especially if you have a good reason to do so.

ps. Thanks for volunteering.
